Putting shipping containers on public property in New Zealand

If you must place it on public property, you need to apply for Council approval. The maximum period that any container may occupy a space within the road corridor is 14 days. If a container needs to be on public road corridor for longer than 14 days, it will be considered on a case-by-case basis.
