What is a Hiab truck?
A Hiab is a truck with its own crane for lifting and transporting a variety of different things. We operate Hiab haulage and transport all over the North Island.
What can a Hiab crane truck lift?
We can move and transport anything you can think of from freight to flat pack houses to spa pool and roof trusses and walls, and for larger items like bigger cabins we can use our truck and trailer.
Donna is a fully licenced Load Pilot Class 2 and we have our own wide load pilot vehicle so we are all set up to move your wide loads around.

How much can a Hiab lift?
The reach on each individual front mount varies from 9 meters to 28 meters and have a lifting capability between 1500 kg to 14000 kg – (maximum lift at minimum reach). The lift capability among the various front mounts, at their maximum reach, ranges from 750 kg to 1300 kg.
Our purpose built Hiab has a rear mounted crane it has a maximum reach of 18.7 Meters at 1370kgs and in closer it can lift up to 7560kg at 4.6 meters – further reach can be achieved with extra extensions.

Cost for hiring a Hiab truck
As you can imagine we ship a wide range of loads from small spa pools or cabins or a load of different objects for construction like flat pack homes and pipes. Each job is different and usually costs on an hourly rate.
